MY DIY: Anthro-inspired ruffled scarf

For all you lovers of pink out there (and I know there are a bunch of you), an extremely easy hot pink ruffled scarf to brighten your winter.

The complete tutorial is available at Dollar Store Crafts (the scarf is made from three plain Dollar Tree scarves). No sewing machine required.

  1. You are the DIY beast! It's on "the list" to try. I'm still cleaning brass :)

  2. Ha - my boyfriend teases that I'll buy anything bright and ruffled. Spot on. Love it!

  3. This is cute. I'm all for color!
Thanks for your comment on my armor knuckle ring. Yes, I can bend the finger as much as I probably could with any other knuckle ring. This was a good idea for someone like me: I have really large fingers (size 9-10 rings) and have hard time finding jewelry that I like and that fits. I don't order jewelry online since nothing usually works. Plus for $2.99 it's not bad at all. If I had smaller fingers I would check out Asos, Forever 21 and so on.

  4. Pink - you're talking to me, right? Wouldn't that look lovely sewn around the edge of a plain white linen cushion?

  5. This is so adorable! What a deal and so easy. I love the no sewing part!

  6. you had me at "no sewing machine." fantastic.
